Ms. Darlise is the CEO of Baron Counseling Services LLC. Ms. Darlise is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience specializing in psychotherapy for mental health, hypnosis, anger management, substance abuse, domestic violence, parenting, family issues, relationship concerns, gender identity, grief counseling and struggles with everyday living. Ms. Darlise provide services to Children, Adults, Families, Couples, Veterans, LGBT and Celebrities. In addition, I work with Mental Health Agencies, Miami-Dade County School Board and Charter Schools providing counseling for children and teens with mental health and behavioral health disorders.




Ms. Nora is Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing professional counseling and care in the field of Social Work. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from Barry University, in addition, she a Qualified Social Work Supervisor registered in the State of Florida. Ms. Nora has a genuine compassion for people and her areas of expertise include psychotherapy for mental health, spirituality counseling, inpatient discharge planning and HIV/AIDS case management. Ms. Nora is passionate about serving multicultural individuals and couples ranging from adolescent to older adulthood.

Ms. Shecba is dedicated and enthusiastic license clinical social worker. Ms. Shecba training and experience allows her to skillfully engage with sensitive clients and a culturally diverse population. Ms. Shecba has a strong ability to meet the client where they are and work on a positive progression as team.

Ms. Judith (Judy) is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern and obtained her master’s degree in social work from Barry University. Ms. Judy specializes in working with individuals seeking therapeutic intervention with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD and adjustment disorders. Along, with providing services for individuals, I also work with couples and the family. Ms. Judy provides an authentic genuine and nonjudgmental safe space to allow your healing process to begin while working together on your journey of making you, the best you, that you can be.

Ms. Mimose (Mimi) is a registered clinical social worker intern and has obtained her master’s degree in social work from Barry University. Ms. Mimi has specialized experience working with individuals and families seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, marriage & family counseling, trauma/PTSD, mental health, child welfare, parental concerns, stress management, work challenges, grief, and bereavement and more. Ms. Mimi is passionate about her work; providing compassionate, high quality, confidential counseling for individuals, and families, regardless of race, religion, culture, or sexual orientation.

Ms. Lexus has obtained a master’s degree in social work from Florida State University. Ms. Lexus is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ms. Lexus is currently practicing therapy in Miami and Broward County. Ms. Lexus specialize in psychotherapy for mental health disorders, behavioral health, domestic violence, family issues, relationship concerns and trauma for teenagers and adults. In addition, Ms. Lexus is a Sexual Health Educator. Ms. Lexus work with teens, adults, community organizations and schools to provide education on sexual health topics, such as sexuality, HIV & AIDS, STIs, contraception, healthy v. unhealthy relationships, reproduction, and anatomy/physiology of the genitals.

Ms. Maria has a passion for helping people who may be struggling with mental health-related issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, anger management, grief, and everyday life or family issues that may arise. Ms. Maria received a Trauma-Informed MSW from Barry University. Ms. Maria is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mental Health Nutritional Integrative Medicine. If you need Faith-Based counseling Ms. Maria can be of assistance. Ms. Maria provides services to children, adults, families, and couples. As a trained professional allow Ms. Maria to equip you with tools and techniques to help you feel resilient, empowered, and more self-aware of your own superpowers in making more productive choices.

Ms. Jamie is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a background in girl's/women's issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and sexual assault. Ms. Jamie combines the knowledge and skills learned during her Master of Arts in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with those learned obtaining her Master of Social Work to provide individual, family, couple's, and group therapy sessions. Ms. Jamie also has experience providing psychoeducation and social-emotional learning skills to children facing emotional and behavioral based mental health challenges. Ms. Jamie's approach to therapy focuses on a strengths-based and empowerment perspective while using trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques combined with mindfulness and self-compassion practices. Once she obtains her Clinical Social Worker license, Ms. Jamie's future includes becoming a Certified Sex Therapist.

Ms. Brenda is the friendly face at the front desk. Ms. Brenda loves to find ways to help people smile. Ms. Brenda is happy to answer your questions, schedule your appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visits and service request positive. It is important that each of you enjoy a feeling of ease and confidence at our practice. Everyone works extremely well together to provide the best service for you. Our staff is very warm and inviting. We love the positive energy felt by everyone and we really appreciate the attentive care our therapist and team strive to provide, as individuals and collectively, to each patient/client.

Ms. Shakeena has exceptional skills and is the pivotal in making sure BCS day-to-day office practice activities and operations runs smoothly, and that team members have a happy and productive environment to work in (as well as keeping everyone well in check!) With over 10 years of experience as a business consultant and administrator Ms. Shakeena is passionate about systems, workflows and helping people and businesses to achieve and get organized. Ms. Shakeena strengths are identifying the tasks that need to be completed on both a recurring and an ad-hoc basis. Ms. Shakeena brings order to individuals and businesses establishing systems that work for them.
